Prasonisi
A place where land, wind, and water collide.
Prasonisi is one of the most unique and iconic places in Rhodes — the point where the Aegean Sea and the Mediterranean Sea meet. During the summer, the sandy strip that connects the small island to Rhodes is fully visible, creating an impressive landscape with water on both sides.
It is a paradise for windsurfers and kitesurfers, thanks to the strong winds on the Aegean side and the calmer waters on the Mediterranean side. Even if you’re not into watersports, Prasonisi is worth visiting for its dramatic scenery, wide open horizon, and the feeling of standing between two seas at the same time.
Visitors can walk along the sand passage, explore the lighthouse at the top of the hill, or simply enjoy the panoramic views and crystal-clear waters. It’s one of the most photogenic and memorable spots on the island.
